Kathleen Vermillion

  • Lead the community in spearheading the creation of the statewide advocacy group “Coalition for Homeless Teens” in Clark County; later becoming a contributing co-founder of the nationally acclaimed organization known today as The Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth.

  • Worked on the appointed team of four individuals charged with creating the Volunteer Center of Southern Nevada under the Bush Administrations Point of Lights initiative.

  • Recipient of Woman’s Role Model of the Year, Nevada 2002
